Two persons were killed and a dozen injured when a speeding state-owned bus plunged from an elevated road in Uttar Pradesh's Etawah district on Thursday, police said.

The Uttar Pradesh State Roadways Transport Corp (UPSRTC) bus carrying 30 passengers fell off elevated section of the Etawah-Agra highway near Budaila village.

Witnesses said rescuers had a tough time pulling out the passengers from under the bus, which turned turtle after landing on the highway.
