Alia Bhatt is busy promoting "Highway" these days, but she is equally upbeat about her other film "2 States". The actress loves the Chetan Bhagat book that the movie is based on.

"I had read '2 States' even before the book was getting made into a film...It's a beautiful book," Alia said.

"2 States: The Story of My Marriage", which hit the stands in 2009, is the story of a Punjabi guy and Tamil girl.

Alia plays the south Indian girl.

"I am playing a Tamilian girl. I learnt Tamil for the film. It was not easy talking in Tamil even though she only speaks the south Indian language with her father and mother in the film," said the "Student Of The Year" actress.

Showbiz doesn't interest Juhi Chawla's kids

Juhi Chawla says neither her daughter nor her son is interested in pursuing a career in filmdom when they grow up.

The actress, who is married to businessman Jay Mehta, has daughter Jhanvi, who was born in 2001, and son Arjun born in 2003.

"If they wanted it (to get into acting), I would say 'Of course, do it'! But at this moment, they don't look like they want it. I have to come to terms with that. You can't put out your dreams to another little child," said the actress.

Juhi said she wants them to be culturally inclined.

"I want my kids to learn dance and music, but she (Jhanvi) barely watches Hindi films. She is into her books, she loves history and she is going to become a writer," added the 46-year-old.
