Chasing a competitive target of 287 runs, India were 112/5 at stumps on the fourth day of the second Test against Australia here on Monday.
Hanuma Vihari and Rishabh Pant were batting on 24 and 9 runs respectively. In the third session of the day, India lost the wickets of skipper Virat Kohli (17), Ajinkya Rahane (30) and opener Murli Vijay (20).
India now need another 175 runs on the final day of the contest on Tuesday. Earlier in the day, Australia were bowled out for 243 in their second innings.
