Three people were killed early on Friday when a passenger bus crashed into a stationary dumper here and then hit a mini-bus, police said. Five others were injured in the accident, one critically.
The bus was travelling from Rewa to Gwalior when it rammed into the dumper, which had broken down on the road, Additional Superintendent of Police B.K.S. Parihar told IANS.
The mini-bus had been called to tow the dumper. The accident happened because of the bus driver's negligence, the police officer added.
Among the dead were two mechanics.
