At least three suspects involved in two blasts on Friday at the Yangon regional government office have been arrested, a police officer said on Saturday.
Two women and a man were captured with material used for making chemical bombs with soft drink bottles, Xinhua news agency reported.
The suspects admitted to being involved in the blasts on Friday.
Two minor blasts took place at the regional government office building, which lies in Dagon township. No casualties were reported.
A series of explosions had occurred in Yangon's two giant retailers and South Dagon township's Immigration office during this month.
Those explosions were also identified as being caused by similar home-made chemical bombs.
