Four persons were killed in a fight between two Maoist groups in Jharkhand's Khuti district on Sunday, police said.
According to police, four persons were first fired at and injured, and later killed with a sharp-edged weapon at Kasira village under jurisdiction of Karra police station in Khuti district, around 70 km from Ranchi.
The police have recovered three bodies. These were identified as of Mukesh, Rahul and Anil, and the search is on for the body of the fourth person killed.
The police said those killed had a criminal background and they belonged to the Jaynath Sahu Maoist group.
The police suspect People's Liberation Front of India (PLFI), Maoist organisation, is behind killing of the four persons.
Maoist guerrillas are active in 18 of the 24 districts of the state.
