Kolkata, April 19 (IANS) A 40-pound cake decorated with 40 different pictures of him will greet master blaster Sachin Tendulkar as he completes 40 at the iconic Eden Gardens April 24 when the maestro's Mumbai Indians take on Kolkata Knight Riders in their IPL match.
"We have ordered a 40-pound cake which will have 40 different pictures of Sachin for his birthday. His birthday is a special occasion and merits a special celebration," said Cricket Association of Bengal joint secretary Subir Ganguly.
Senior CAB officials are expected to be present during the celebrations scheduled to be held at the MI dressing room.
The batting legend is also likely to visit the Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture in the city.
