49 candidates file nominations in Delhi

As many as 49 candidates, including senior Congress leaders Sandeep Dikshit and Ajay Maken besides BJP's Harsh Vardhan Friday filed their nominations for the coming Lok Sabha elections in Delhi.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Ashutosh and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Meenakshi Lekhi have filed their nominations from Chandni Chowk and New Delhi respectively.

The others to file their nominations were Mahabal Mishra of the Congress, Udit Raj of the BJP along with Rakhi Birla and Jarnail Singh of the AAP.

Filing of nominations started March 15 and the last date for filing is March 22.

Lok Sabha polls in Delhi are scheduled April 10.
