6.6-magnitude quake hits 180km Dadali, Solomon Islands

An earthquake measuring 6.6 on the Richter scale jolted 180 km southwest of Dadali, Solomon Islands at 04.12 on Monday, the US Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 15 km, was initially determined to be at 9.3208 degrees south latitude and 158.0092 degrees east longitude, Xinhua reported.
