6.7-magnitude quake jolts Papua New Guinea
An earthquake measuring 6.7 on the Richter Scale hit off Papua New Guinea on Wednesday, the US Geological Survey (USGS) said.
The quake occurred at 39 km east of Namatanai with a depth of 499 km, Xinhua news agency cited the USGS as showing.
