A resort in a southeastern city in South Korea collapsed Monday under the weight of heavy snow, burying around 60 university students, media reported.
An auditorium's ceiling at the Mauna Ocean Resort in Gyeongju, around 370 km southeast of Seoul, collapsed at around 9.15 p.m. under the weight of heavy snow, Xinhua reported citing local broadcaster YTN.
The collapse buried some 60 students of the Busan University of Foreign Studies, with 30 other students taken to a nearby hospital. Fifty more students were given first aid.
