Singer Aaron Carter and his girlfriend Madison Parker were arrested for driving under influence and drug possession in Habersham county, Georgia.
Carter was charged for DUI refusal, possessing marijuana less than one ounce, and possession of drug related objects on Saturday night, reports aceshowbiz.com.
The arrest happened ahead of his scheduled concert at Kansas City Live! in Kansas City, Missouri.
Carter was forced to cancel the gig. He didn't mention his run-in with the law but cited "transportation issues" instead.
"Due to transportation issues, Aaron will not make his set time tonight in Kansas City. He promises to come back soon. He apologises to his fans in KC and Mix93.3," Carter team wrote on Twitter.
