"Guru" completes seven years of its release Sunday. Doesn't time fly, says actor Abhishek Bachchan.
Directed by Mani Ratnam, "Guru" was an important film for Abhishek for both personal and professional reasons - he proposed to Aishwarya Rai after the off-shore premiere of "Guru" and married her, and it was also his biggest hit of the year.
Interestingly, this was Abhi and Ash's first super hit film together after duds like "Dhaai Akshar Prem Ke" and "Kuch Naa Kaho".
"How time flies...feels like yesterday that we finished shooting for 'Guru'. Well, onwards and upwards," Abhishek tweeted Sunday about "Guru".
The 37-year-old also posted a dialogue from the hit movie.
"Naam tha nahin, hai, aur hamesha rahega (name was not well-known, but is and will always be)...Gurukant Desai! Can't believe it's even seven years since 'Guru' released," Abhishek tweeted.
The actor is currently shooting for his forthcoming film "Happy New Year", which also features Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone.

"Hearing such wonderful things about 'Dedh Ishqiya'. And today per chance bumped into Naseer bhai (Naseeruddin Shah) and the beautiful Madhuri (Dixit). Want to see it now," SRK tweeted Sunday.
Madhuri and Shah Rukh worked together in films like "Anjaam", "Dil To Pagal Hai", "Koyla" and "Devdas".

Why bodyguards, wonders Shekhar Kapur
Filmmaker Shekhar Kapur is not too impressed with the concept of bodyguards shadowing movie stars. He asks why are they afraid of the people that made them who they are.
"When I see movie stars surrounded by scores of bodyguards, I wonder what makes you so afraid of the very people that made you stars?" Kapur tweeted Saturday.
On the work front, he is busy with Sushant Singh Rajput-starrer "Paani", which will go on floors in mid-2014.

'The Legend...' challenging for Arshad
It's adventure time for actor Arshad Warsi with "The Legend of Michael Mishra", a film that requires him to work a lot on his character.
"Good morning...'The Legend of Michael Mishra' is one movie where I really had to work hard on how I should play this character," Arshad tweeted Sunday.
The actor, who started the year with two releases "Mr Joe B. Carvalho" and "Dedh Ishqiya", says the upcoming movie marks the beginning of a new adventure.
"Another movie, another adventure, new challenges, new excitement, new fears, new insecurities, new friends...'The Legend of Michael Mishra'," he tweeted.
Directed by Manish Jha, the comedy also features Boman Irani, Aditi Rao Hydari and Kayoze Irani.
