Accessories provide a personal touch: Olivia Palermo

Socialite Olivia Palermo says accessories are the most important part of an outfit and make for a personal touch.

"I incorporate accessories because that's the most important thing when you are getting dressed - it gives you a personal touch," femalefirst.co.uk quoted Palermo as saying.

"I try to dress for myself. I always have a very polished element to everything that I wear," she added.

Thanks to her fashion blog and high-profile gigs, the 27-year-old has also carved a career for herself as a model and style expert. She recently represented Spanish jewellery line - Carrera y Carrera.

"I love my job and I love the fact that every day is different," said Palermo.

Palermo, who also participated in a reality TV show "The City", said that summer is her favourite season for experimenting with different prints and colours.

"It's all about what catches your eye when it comes to different patterns. Play around with mixing big and small prints to see how it works for you, and go from there. Summer is a great time to play around with colour as well, so don't be afraid to go bold," she added.
