Singer Adele is reportedly "earning 80,000 pounds a day" despite the fact that she hasn't released an album in four years.
Her music career has taken something of a backseat as she dedicates her time to her two-year-old son Angelo Adkins, but her bank balance is still looking pretty healthy.
Dailymail.co.uk reports that The Sun has revealed that 26-year-old is apparently taking home 80,000 pounds a day despite not releasing a new album in the last four years. Her two companies earned 54 million pounds in the 22 months up to Dec 31, 2013, according to newly released accounts.
Her largest company, Melted Stone, netted 30.4 million pounds in the 14 months leading up to April 2013 and a further 8 million pounds in the rest of that year.
Adele paid herself 5.25million pounds dividend in the second part of 2013.
Despite her own success, the singer likes to champion other performers where possible and her last three tweets have been in support of some of her competitors.
