The AIMIM on Wednesday sent medicines worth Rs 50 lakh and a medical team to Bihar's flood-affected Seemanchal region.
All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen President Asaduddin Owaisi, along with Managing Director of Owaisi Group of Hospitals and party legislator Akbaruddin Owaisi, inspected medicines at the hospital before they were despatched.
Medical relief includes medicines, protein powder, multi-vitamin supplements, ORS liquid and powder, and IV fluids.
The party is also sending a large team, comprising 31 doctors besides two legislators Jaffer Hussain Mehraj and Kauser Mohiuddin and party corporators, to distribute the medicines.
According to a statement from AIMIM, the party has identified places to set up centres. Every day five Relief camps will be set up for the affected.
