Mobile network service provider Aircel was Monday announced as the principal sponsor of Indian Super League (ISL) franchise Atletico de Kolkata.
Football club Atletico de Kolkata co-owners -- former India cricket captain Sourav Ganguly, R.P. Sanjiv Goenka Group chairman Sanjiv Goenka -- and Aircel chief marketing officer Anupam Vasudev were present while making the announcement here.
The company's logo will be used on the front of the team jersey and training kits.
The team is currently training at the Los Angeles de San Rafael training ground in Segovia, Spain, and will take on Mumbai City FC in the opening game of the inaugural ISL at the Salt Lake Stadium here Oct 12.
