Ali Fazal enjoys working with Mahesh Bhatt

Actor Ali Fazal is glad to be working in "Khamoshiyan" under the Vishesh Films banner, and he is in awe of its co-owner Mahesh Bhatt's understanding of an actor and commercial cinema.

"Working with Mahesh Bhatt is like the best thing to have happened (to me). He just says one word about you (an actor) and it just triggers...he knows what to expect from an actor. He understands commercial cinema so well and tries to keep the sanctity of a project alive. I'm really looking forward to this film," Ali told IANS.

"I have finished shooting the first schedule of the film and I will be going to Kashmir to shoot the rest of it," he added.

To be directed by Karan Dara, "Khamoshiyaan" also features Sapna Pabbi and Gurmeet Chaudhary amog others.

Talking about the film, Ali said: "It's a kind of a film which I have not done before. It's about a journey of a guy who is very helpless and who tries to find himself. It's a nostalgic journey."

The actor has earlier featured in films like "Fukrey" and "3 Idiots".
