It was a disastrous outing for Indian shuttlers here Thursday as all lost their respective second round matches at the French Open Super Series.

South Korea's Yeon Ju Bae overcame fourth seeded Saina in a thrilling one hour and 11-minute marathon battle 20-22, 21-15, 22-20. With the win, the World No.10 Yeon closed the career meet gap to 4-5 against Saina.
Elsewhere, Sindhu also lost her one-hour-long tie against Scot Kirsty Gilmour after winning the first game. The World No.30 upset the World No.11 Indian 10-21, 21-19, 21-16 in their first-ever encounter.
