Star Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan put up a dazzling all-round show to help Jamaica Tallawahs seal a resounding 108-run win over St Kitts and Nevis Patriots in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) Twenty20 cricket tournament.
After launching a late onslaught which saw Shakib hammer an unbeaten 17-ball 34 with five boundaries and a six, the southpaw grabbed two wickets with the ball, reported bdnews24.com on Sunday.
Tallawahs racked up an imposing 183-6 after being asked to bat at Sabina Park. They had stumbled at the start though, having been reduced to 20-2.

Sri Lankan veteran batsman Kumar Sangakkara (65) and Rovman Powell (35) then kickstarted the innings, pairing in a 74-run third wicket stand.
Sangakkara, who was adjudged Man-of-the-Match, cracked seven fours and two sixes in his 47-ball knock before he and Andre Russell (16) walked back in successive balls, and in came Shakib in the 17th over.
He helped Tallawahs notch up 44 runs in the last four overs.
Patriots never looked comfortable chasing the huge target and folded up for a measly 75 in 15.5 overs. Jonathan Carter topscored with 23 while Evin Lewis made 17.
Kesrick Williams was the pick of the bowlers, returning 3-19. Shakib returned 2-2 while Dale Steyn (2-5) and Russell (2-11), too, bagged a couple of wickets each.
In their last match against Guyana Amazon Warriors the previous day, Shakib starred with an unbeaten 54 which helped Tallawahs recover from a disastrous start (2-4 in 1.1 overs) and earn a win.
