The annual budget of Andhra Pradesh will not be presented on Monday as the legislature has declared a holiday following the death of legislator Bhuma Nagi Reddy.

Finance Minister Y. Ramakrishnudu was to present the budget for 2017-18 in the assembly on Monday.

Bhuma, a member of the ruling Telugu Desam Party (TDP), died of cardiac arrest on Sunday in his home district Kurnool. His last rites will be performed on Monday.

Speaker Kodela Sivaprasad Rao and Council Chairman Chakrapani expressed shock over the death of Bhuma, a former MP.
