Anupama Dayal extends brand, opens second flagship store

Designer Anupama Dayal is set to open her second flagship store at the plush DLF Promenade mall in South Delhi. This will be her second flagship store.

The designer currently retails from her flagship store in Khan Market and few multi-brand outlets including Bombay Electric, Ogaan, Ensemble, Chamomile, Elahe, Amethyst, and Taj Khazana.

She has a footprint in 16 cities globally, including New York, London, Paris, Tokyo, Sydney, Melbourne, Dubai and Singapore, where she retails through multi-brand stores.

Spread over150 square-feet, her second flagship store will have a striking image of the international supermodel Gisele Bundchen flaunting Dayal's resort wear.

"The store is a subtle yet apparent reflection of the brand's philosophy and style of vintage meets bold and western," said the designer in a statement.

No just an oridnary store, the ceiling is hand-painted by the designer herself capturing photographs, tassels and hand-printed fabrics in earthy tones.

The store will open its door for the fashion patrons Saturday.
