Tired of using mosquito repellents that appear ineffective nowadays? A new smartphone app can rescue you from that imminent bite.
Called "Mosquito Repellent", it will repel mosquitoes by emitting high frequency sounds that mosquitoes hate.
You can also track the amount of bugs in your area and view maps where they are the worst, with an additional feature called "M Tracker".
After downloading the app, you need to hit the mosquito button and a blue light will highlight a mosquito symbol.
"This will create some frequency sounds that will keep the mosquitoes away as they find the sound irritating," its developers said in media reports.
As the sounds are a bit higher than dog whistles, humans will not feel irritated.
The free app has adjustable frequency levels so that you may use the frequency level suitable for your region.
Available in Google Play Store, the new app uses very less battery.
