Delhi's ruling AAP on Saturday demanded the arrest of those who had shot protesting farmers in Madhya Pradesh.
At a prayer meeting for the killed farmers here, Delhi Minister Gopal Rai said: "Farmers in Madhya Pradesh were asking for fair price for their crops but were instead shot. Anyone who raises voice against BJP government is being targeted, now this is happening with the farmers as well."
"Those who shot the farmers must be arrested and a case must be registered against them, farmers must get fair price for their crops and their demands must be worked upon," he demanded.
Rai, along with Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) workers, gathered at Kisan Ghat here and observed two-minute silence to mark their protest.
