A court in Pakistan has issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against Lal Masjid cleric Maulana Abdul Aziz here Friday.
The warrant has been received, station house officer of Aabpara police station Khalid Awan said, Geo TV reported.
Two days ago FIR No.569 was lodged in the Aabpara police station against Maulana Aziz for threatening members of civil society.
Members of civil society were protesting outside the Lal Masjid against Maulana Abdul Aziz for his unwillingness to condemn the brutal attack on the Army Public School in Peshawar Dec 16, which claimed more than 140 lives, mostly students and teachers.
Aziz, in a statement given to a TV channel, said he would not condemn a single incident.
