City-based designers Asha and Gautam Gupta have introduced an exclusive range of limited edition Eri silk saris under their Indian Label Vinayak Couture.
Eri silk is extracted from the worm Samia-Cynthia Ricini, which is found in north east of India and is often called 'Ahimsa silk' as the process doesn't involve the killing of the insect, read a statement.
Gupta has created the Eri silk fabric by organically and naturally processing the fabric under the sunlight to soften its texture.
