Karnataka is likely to receive moderate to heavy rainfall due to the fallout of a cyclonic storm 'Ashobaa' centred over Arabian Sea, the Met Office said on Tuesday.
Rain and thundershowers would also occur at most of the places in coastal Karnataka, at many places in north Karnataka and a few places over south Karnataka, the weather department officials said.
The Met Office has also forecast a cloudy sky with the possibility of rain or thunderstorm in Bengaluru on Tuesday.
The city received a rainfall of 0.6 mm on Monday, officials said.
Bengaluru is likely to see a maximum temperature of 31 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 21 degrees Celsius on Tuesday, officials said.
On Monday, the city recorded a maximum temperature of 31.2 degrees Celsius which is notch above the season's average while the minimum temperature was 21.2 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average.
