ASR Logistics expand operations to Dubai

Leading logistics company ASR Logistics India Pvt. Ltd. on Tuesday announced that it is expanding the operations to Dubai, where it will focus on transportation and warehousing.

The company is primarily engaged in containerised transportation activity, and has now expanded its activities to other areas of logistics and supply chain solutions through sister concerns registered/incorporated in several countries in Asia, the company said in a statement.

According to the company's director Rajendra Singh Rao, ASR cargo LLC Dubai is newly formed company which will provide complete logistics solutions to the customers operation from Gulf. It will have warehousing services in Jebel Ali free zone.

"This new enterprise will be working independently to provide transport service in UAE too," he said.

The company, which is focusing its energies in the container business, currently has 1,100 containers and plans to add another 700 containers this year. By the end of next year, it will have its own 2,000 tankers.

With focus on the ASEAN trade, ASR Logistics has offices in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar and Indonesia.
