Taiwan-based technology major ASUS on Wednesday launched ZenFone 3 Series in India that comprises ZenFone 3, ZenFone 3 Deluxe, ZenFone 3 Ultra and ZenFone 3 Laser smartphones in India.
ZenFone 3 is priced at Rs 21,999, ZenFone 3 Deluxe and ZenFone 3 Ultra at Rs 49,999, and ZenFone 3 Laser starts at Rs 18,999.
Along with smartphones, ASUS also unveiled lightweight ZenBook 3 (priced at Rs 1,47,990) and Transformer 3 Pro (priced at Rs 1,44,990) laptops in the presence of its ASUS brand ambassador Sonakshi Sinha who said that she is now "part of Zenfone family."
Sinha walked the ramp as the showstopper for a fashion show organised by ASUS in association with designer-duo Shivan and Narresh.
"We are ecstatic to introduce the ZenFone 3 Series, which redefines luxury with superior performance and design to consumers in India, one of our priority markets globally," ASUS CEO Jerry Shen told reporters here.
"The ZenFone 3 Series has become a global sensation after its debut at Computex this year. The range reflects the ASUS design philosophy and combines all the elements that users look for in a smartphone," he added.
ZenFone 3 comes in 5.2-inch and 5.5-inch screen sizes. Both the smartphones are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, features 16MP rear camera and 8MP front camera.
The ZenFone 3 Deluxe smartphone has a 5.7-inch full-HD (1920 by 1080) Super-AMOLED display, a 6GB RAM with UFS 2.0 256GB storage and a 23MP rear camera featuring the latest Sony IMX318 image sensor.
The ZenFone 3 Ultra features 6.8-inch full-HD IPS LCD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor paired up with 4GB of RAM.
ZenFone 3 Laser has 5.5-inch full-HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor paired up with 4GB RAM and has 32GB internal storage.
ZenBook 3 features 12.5-inch full-HD display, Intel core i7 processor, Intel HD graphics and runs on Windows 10 operating system.
Transformer 3 Pro has 12.6-inch WQHD+ display, Intel core i7 processor, Intel HD graphics 520 and runs on Windows 10 operating system.
