Athletic Bilbao announce friendly against Bordeaux in July

Athletic Bilbao on Tuesday announced that they will play a friendly match against Girondins Bordeaux football club on July 23 in the French town of Tarnos, near Baiona.

This is the third preparatory match confirmed by Bilbao before the 2016-2017 season, after the July 20 match against SD Huesca in El Alcoraz, and the July 29 against Sporting Gijon in Leioa, reports Efe, reports Efe.

Bilbao also intend to play another friendly against German club Schalke 04 at the Veltins Arena in Gelsenkirchen on August 14.

This game was announced by the German club, but has not yet been confirmed by Bilbao.
