Defending champions Atletico de Kolkata on Friday roped in four players they needed picking up Lalchhawnkima, Augustine Fernandes, Amrinder Singh and Kunzang Bhutia from the draft.
Defender Fernandes was the costliest of the lot as ATK had to shell out Rs.26 lakh followed by Lalchhawnkima for Rs.9 lakh and Amrinder and Kunzang coming for Rs.4.5 lakh and Rs.4 lakh, respectively.
Bengaluru FC left-back Keegan Pereira bagged the highest amount in the draft with a price of Rs.32 lakh and was roped in by Mumbai City FC, who also added 26-year-old Pratesh Shirodkar to their squad for Rs.9 lakh.
Delhi Dynamos selected midfielder Gunashekar Vignesh for Rs.12 lakh and defender Zodingliana Ralte for Rs.2 lakh in the sixth and seventh rounds.
Midfielder Cavin Lobo, who turned up for Atletico last season, will now feature for Kerala Blasters, who roped him in for Rs.20 lakh. Blasters also drafted veteran midfielder Peter Carvalho for Rs.12 lakh.
FC Pune City, on the other hand, signed midfielder Gurjinder Kumar for Rs.27 lakh. ATK tried their best to convince the Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan co-owned franchise to trade but failed.
There were disappointments too as only 40 players were picked from a draft that had 113 players.
