Atletico Madrid's full football squad returned to training following its 1-0 La Liga win against Villarreal to prepare for the next game on Saturday against Athletic Bilbao at the Vicente Calderon.
The team, under Argentine manager Diego Simeone, is third with 75 points in the standings without conceding a single defeat in the last 11 games in light of their victory against Athletic at Estadio El Madrigal, with a goal netted in the 74th minute by Fernando Torres, reports Efe.
Atletico's Ruben Gracia missed the match due to a clause in his contract that prevents him from playing against Villarreal, which loaned him to the 'Rojiblancos' this year.
Simeone divided his squad into two groups as usual during Thursday's workouts. The first group was for starters from the Athletic game and the other for the rest of the players in a session that lasted around 75 minutes.
