India have given Australia a target of 160 to chase in the dead rubber Group 2 clash of the ICC World Twenty20 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium here Sunday.
Put in to bat, India put up a total of 159/7 in their quota of 20 overs with Yuvraj Singh top scoring with a blistering 60 off 43 balls.
After suffering a top order collapse, with India reeling at 66/4 in the 12th over, Yuvraj and skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni (24) provided the much needed impetus their side needed. The duo struck an 84-run fifth-wicket partnership to put India past the 150-mark.
Australia used six bowlers and all of them took a wicket each.
