After impressing audiences and critics alike in Telugu drama "Mithunam", veteran actors S.P. Balasubrahmanyam and Lakshmi, will be seen together in upcoming Tamil film "Moondre Moondru Vaarthai".
"I was moved by their performance in 'Mithunam'. They were so naturally good in their roles that it prompted me to have them in my film. They play the hero's grandparents and have good scenes together," the film's director Madhumita told IANS.
National award-winning actress Lakshmi and Balasubrahmanyam played an ageing couple in "Mithunam", a critically successful film by actor-director Tanikella Bharani.
"Moondre Moondru Vaarthai" is being produced by Balasubrahmanyam's son S.P. Charan under his home banner Capital Film Works.
The film features debutant Arjun Chidambaram in the lead alongside Aditi Chengappa and Venkatesh Harinathan.
