Barcelona's first team held its final pre-season training on Tuesday at the Joan Gamper Sports City, before flying to the US later in the day to take part the International Champions Cup (ICC) friendly tournament.
Tuesday's session included all available Barça players along with 13 from the B-team as the club is still awaiting the return of its players who were on international duty at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, reports Efe.
Meanwhile, first-team midfielder Sergi Samper will not join the US tour, due to "a problem in his left knee, and will stay in Barcelona to receive treatment and follow a specific training plan", according to the club's website.
Barcelona is to play three friendly matches in the ICC, facing Tottenham Hotspur on July 29 in Los Angeles, AS Roma on July 31 in Dallas and AC Milan on August 4 in San Francisco.
