FC Barcelona striker Luis Suarez is setting his sights on more silverware after helping the Catalan football giants to the treble last season.
Although the Uruguayan was unable to play until October as the result of a FIFA ban, he was vital to the cause, scoring goals, producing assists and quickly striking up an understanding with Argentine superstar Lionel Messi and Brazil ace marksman Neymar in the Barcelona attack, Xinhua reported on Tuesday.
As a result of last season's success, Barcelona kick off this campaign with the chance of winning six titles, adding the Spanish and European Supercups and the World Club Championships to the Champions League, La Liga and King's Cup they conquered last time around.
"I want to win everything this season," said Suarez, who is on tour with Barcelona in the US, where they will face LA Galaxy as well as Manchester United and Chelsea.
One player who is not on the tour is Messi as the Argentinean is enjoying his holidays after a long season saw him help his country to the final of the Copa America.
Messi came in for criticism after Argentina lost the final to hosts Chile, but Suarez doesn't understand those who look to attack his companion.
"It is inconceivable that some people want to criticise the best player in the world. We are all human and he wanted to win the title as much as anyone," the 28-year-old said.
The former Liverpool and Ajax Amsterdam star was also clear about rumours which say Messi wants to leave Barcelona after challenger Joan Laporta was defeated by incumbent Josep Maria Bartomeu in the elections for the club presidency last Saturday.
"That is a personal decision for him to make and one he will have to think a lot about but I don't want him to go," concluded Suarez.
