Consumer electronics manufacturer Belkin India has launched a lighting to USB cable for iPhones and iPads at Rs 2,499 that can withstand over 18 kg of weight.
The cable connects iPhones, iPads or iPods with lightning connector to the computer's USB port for syncing and charging.
"Paying heed to the latest innovation and the need in the market, Mixit DuraTek Lightning to USB Cable is built with DuPont Kevlar to add strength to the device," said Kartik Bakshi, Country Manager, Belkin India in a statement on Friday.
Kevlar is a high-strength synthetic fibre used as a reinforcing agent to strengthen the conductors and enhance protection.
The cable, available in four colours, comes with laser-welded connector and can support optimal charging for iOS devices.
