Actor Shia LaBeouf finds "Armageddon" star Ben Affleck "charming".
LaBeouf also credits Affleck, who produced his 2003 comedy-drama "The Battle of Shaker Heights", for helping him.
"Ben is a really charming dude," he said in the November cover story for Interview magazine, reports people.com.
"He was the first guy who really took me off to the side and made me feel like I could do it," added the actor, who experienced a year of bizarre behaviour and brushes with the law.
The 28-year-old shared that Affleck used to tell him that "Keep your head on straight, kid, and don't let all this get to you"
"Afflect knew that I had cameras in my face and that there were expectations to perform. I think that's always been my issue. I'm prone to theatrics in my life," said LaBeouf.
"Ben saw that and was trying to curb it before it became an issue. He was unsuccessful," he added.
