Actor Benedict Cumberbatch has been finalised to portray Doctor Strange in Marvel's upcoming screen adaptation.
The story of the film is about a former neurosurgeon, who serves as the Sorcerer Supreme and discovers a hidden world of magic and alternate dimensions, reports contactmusic.com.
"Stephen Strange's story requires an actor capable of great depth and sincerity. In 2016, Benedict will show audiences what makes Doctor Strange such a unique and compelling character," said producer Kevin Feige in a statement.
Directed by Scott Derrickson, "Doctor Strange" will come out Nov 4, 2016.
