The death toll in Saturday's hooch tragedy in West Bengal's East Midnapore district on Monday rose to 10, police said.
A group of people, who consumed liquor on Saturday under Moyna police station area, subsequently started showing signs of nausea and began vomiting and had to be rushed to hospitals, a police officer said.
"So far, 10 people have died and at least 14 others are undergoing treatment. We have arrested 16 people in this connection," said the police officer.
