Reigning Bengal matinee idol and Trinamool Congress candidate Dev Friday won Ghatal Lok Sabha seat, trouncing his opponent Santosh Rana of the Communist Party of India by a massive margin of 260,939 votes.
Dev romped to victory by bagging a whopping 685,122 votes while Rana came in second with 424,183.
