Bengal principal held for molesting minors

The principal of a primary school in West Bengal's Malda district has been arrested for allegedly molesting minor girls, police said Thursday.

The middle-aged principal of a primary school in Bamangola in the district, some 370 km from Kolkata, was arrested Wednesday night after a police complaint was lodged alleging that he molested two minor girl students.

"We arrested the man Wednesday night. The families of the two girls have alleged that he has been molesting them," said Malda's Superintendent of Police Kalyan Mukherjee.
