Taipei-based technology major BenQ on Wednesday launched a new BlueCore technology based laser light source projector designed for entertainment applications, corporate meeting rooms, educational facilities.
The Rs 1.8 million BlueCore LU9715 projector features 8,000 lumens of brightness, portrait projection and uses dual colour wheel that produces RGBY colour with enhanced color intensity, balance and fidelity.
"Our BlueCore laser technology allows full control of light output, enabling a 100,000:1 contrast ratio, so every subtle detail is revealed during dark scenes," said Rajeev Singh, Managing Director, BenQ India, in a statement.
The LU9715 also features 3G-SDI connectivity, a widely used standard in the media and broadcast industry to transport uncompressed digital video signals.
