Czech tennis player Tomas Berdych advanced to the second round of French Open, the second Grand Slam of the season, here on Monday.
Berdych started the first round with a 6-0, 7-5, 6-3 win against Japanese qualifier Yoshihito Nishioka on the clay courts of the Stade Roland Garros, reports Efe.
The World No.4 will face the winner of the clash between compatriot Radek Stepanek and Croatian Ivan Dodig in the second round.
