Singer Beyonce Knowles has visited Haiti with United Nations humanitarian chief Baroness Amos to study the rehabilitation effort since the devastating 7.0 magnitude earthquake which struck the country in 2010.
The 33-year-old shared on Instagram some photographs from her visit on Sunday, reports aceshowbiz.com.
In the images, Knowles is seen wearing a white 'BEY GOOD' t-shirt paired with ripped, high-waisted jeans. She wore natural colour makeup and her hair was styled in low ponytail. She captioned one of the images: "Haiti. Humanitarian mission with the UN."
The "Run the world" hitmaker also posed for photographs with the rescue team and some doctors working in the area.
UN mission spokeswoman Sophie Boutaud de la Combe said in a statement that Knowles travelled with UN Emergency Relief Coordinator and Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs Valerie Amos and met "some of the people who were affected by" the devastating disaster five years ago.
Visiting areas such as Port-au Prince, she was all smiles while handing out necessary resources like food and water to local resident.
