Singer Justin Bieber has added a new member to his family and the puppy has been named Esther.
The singer shared a photograph of the puppy on Sunday on the photo-sharing site Instagram and called it a new member of the Bieber's family, reports aceshowbiz.com.
The photograph showed a small black and brown dog cradled in his tattooed arm.
The image captioned: "Say hello to the newest member of the Bieber family #Esther."
The "Baby" hitmaker recently posted another photograph of Esther cradled in his arm.
He shared with his 28 million followers and wrote: "Today is randomly national puppy day."
The 21-year-old has had a not-so-good record with animals so far.
In the past, he was forced to abandon his pet monkey during a visit to Germany in 2013 because he did not have the proper documentation or vaccinations for the animal. Bieber ultimately paid a fine.
There was also a hamster which he gave away to a teenage fan in Atlanta following a concert. The animal died a few months later.
