Bollywood celebrities like megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini extended birthday wishes to singing legend Lata Mangeshkar, who turned 84 Saturday. They have wished her a long life.

Lata, known as the 'Nightingale of India', started her singing career at age 13 in 1942. In a career spanning over seven decades, the singer has sung several numbers in Hindi as well as in regional languages.
