Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh Wednesday said the BJP was not seeking votes for the party but for one individual.
"It's seeking votes for one person. It seems one person will form the government. I have seen so many elections but have never seen such a one-man show in a party," he told an election rally here.
"I really feel sorry for senior most BJP leaders like L.K. Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi and Sushma Swaraj who have been sidelined by Modi," said the chief minister, whose wife Pratibha Singh is contesting from Mandi.
The chief minister said the BJP's prime ministerial candidate, Narendra Modi, had no impact in the state. He campaigned in the state in 2012 but could not stop the Congress from coming to power.
Taking a dig at BJP MP Anurag Thakur-administered Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA), Singh said it had committed the biggest scam in the state in the name of cricket.
He said the HPCA, earlier a society, was converted into a company and the entire property in the name of society was transferred to the company.
"Just to befool the people, the name of the company was also kept as HPCA (Himalayan Cricket Players Association)," he added.
