India's Rohan Bopanna and Katarina Srebotnik of Slovenia coasted through to the mixed doubles quarterfinals of the US Open with a straight-set victory here.
The sixth seeds beat A. Medina Garrigues of Spain and South Africa's Raven Klaasen 6-3, 6-4 in an hour and five minutes to advance to the last eight Sunday night.
Bopanna will come face to face with compatriot Sania Mirza and her teammate Bruno Soares of Brazil - the top seeds in the tournament.
Another Indian, Leander Paes, is also in the quarterfinal mix. Paes along with his Zimbabwean partner Cara Black, the third seeds, will take on unseeded American- Mexican team of Abigail Spears and Santiago Gonzalez in the other half of the draw.
