Bopanna-Mergea ousted from Bucharest quarters

Indo-Romanian tennis pair of Rohan Bopanna and Florin Mergea were ousted from the men's doubles quarterfinals of the Romanian Open at the Arenele BNR here.

Second seeds Bopanna and Mergea went down 4-6, 6-7(6) to local wildcard pair Marius Copil and Adrian Ungur on Thursday. The winners proceeded to the semifinals of the clay court tournament.
